Christopher John Witton passed away on 30th june 2004 aged 46.
he was sadly snatched from us when he died from a rare form of agressive cancer called germcell cancer, dad only lived a a month. For most of his live he worked in safeway on the checkouts and was quite happy there before that he used to work in a bank, He had a dog called benji who he adored to pieces, but sadly when dad went into hospital benji had to be put down.
He always carried a smile, a smile that would fill your heart with happiness, he never had a bad word to say about anyone, he lived a heathly and happy lifestyle, he used to go bike riding, and in his younger days did archery. He is very sadly missed by everyone that knew him espec his family ann, his sister, nephews, mother, and most of all his daughter, me catherine. Dad you ment the world to me i know we had our ups and downs, i just wish i was there when you took your last breath, just to tell you i will always love you and im so proud you are my dad and i couldnt ask for a beta father, i miss you so much daddy all my love now and always catherine xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

well this is my first xmas by myself this year dad, as you know me and oli didnt work out, i havent bothered with it this year no tree or celebration as waiting for the new year where can toast the old out and in with the new, i dont know what happening either if gdad coming over due to the bad snow we had, i was brought to tears last week as ann saw a physic and you came through dad and spoke to ann, saying something about a marriage but as you no there no longer is one, also saying you wanted to know where your watch was, but as you know its in your box alone with everything else i keep of yours. ann mentioned to me that you wanted the person closest to you to let go that your ok and was your time to go, but unfortunalty even after 6 years i still cant let go and wont ever be able to how ever much i try, it still hurts and crushes me apart knowing i cant turn to you, but i love you dad and see you soon xxx

hi, dad i havent wrote to you in a while, i hope you are ok up there and the angels are looking after you, i have had the week off work, painted all the hallway, i think you would be proud of how the house looks now, taken alot of work and oli been so helpful. he is moving in in 3weeks. my car isnt going to bad i had few lil mistakes, i drove opposite side of road lol thats typical me haha, i miss you dad and i will come and visit you again soon, love you so so much mwah xxxxxxxxx

I think about Chris on many occasions and look back to our childhood together and the fun we had as a family. I remember the times I used to tease Chris and the arguments we would have but we would always make up and stick up for each other if the occasion arose.He was a wonderful brother and I had a great admiration for him for the way he would always look on the bright side of things and only see the best in people which I am sure helped him deal with the more difficult aspects of his life.He would be so proud of his daughter Catherine as I am for the way she has coped with such a life changing event as this and at such a young age.Chris would love the new modern version of his house and be so happy that Cat decided to make it her home though I know there was never a doubt in her mind.Mum and I and Scott and Craig miss you Chris. For all of us you live on in Catherine and I couldnt ask for a better neice. God Bless You Chris.

hello dad, just wishing you a merry xmas, 3rd year without u here now, and it doesnt get any easier at all, im coming to see you tomorrow like i do every xmas day got you a wreath and 2 bunches of flowers they beautiful. jst so wish you were here to celebrate it. just come back from my driving lesson got my test 2nd time round next friday im so nervous, just praying i pass this time and make you proud of me. im just getting ready to stay at olis as spending xmas day with him and his family be nice and a change, i love you so much dad see you tomorrow. hello dad, well so much has happened lately, i now work at morrisons in shirley lol, every one says how much i look like you lol tracey, sharron cox, wendy carter and vince lol, im doin well there we had our xmas dinna there today shame you missed out on urs at kings heath 2day dad. was nice tho had a good old laff with mum aswell. we got the xmaz do at the masons on sat aswell im goin with oli. been pretty down lately i miss you alot, and suppose it because it is coming to xmas and you wont b here agen.:( but i will come and see you on xmaz day like i do every year. just wish you was here so i could celebrate it with you, im going oli's this year not mums. my driving going ok aswell having a lesson once a week now hopefully pass agen in jan.
ive done the house up nice hope you can see it. finished wallpapering your bedroom well mine now lol, just hope you proud of me dad and looking down on me, i grown up so much just wish you were here to see it, but i know you are looking down over me, o dear look at me getting upset again lol. well suppose i beta go got some xmaz pressies 2 wrap lol i love you dad and miss you so so much xxxxx
